"Type Talk: The Essential Structure of Our Roman Alphabet"
by Seth Weine
Typography & lettering are enormous topics, and one could hardly cover even the "A-B-C's" of them---but we can start by looking at the basic structure of our letters: the Roman alphabet. Seth will take us through its "skeleton", and also address other font-o-philic matters.

"Hand Drawing for a House Design: Process & Composition"
by Sam Roche
This talk will explore how some architects have used hand drawing to develop general concepts into finished building designs. We will focus not only on the hand-drawn design process itself but also on some compositional ideas that are common to painting, sculpture, and architecture which this process can emphasize and develop.
